Dale Sanftl
CEO & Founder
Over two decades Dale has built his reputation as a market-leading advisor to prominent families and family offices. He is known for his strategic thinking, creative problem solving, authenticity and ability to build high-performance teams.
He has a unique set of professional skills, insights and networks built through his time as a Chartered Accountant, Senior Client Director with the Myer Family Office and a Partner at PwC.
1010 Capital is Dale’s vision. A privately owned and client-centric investment advisory business that is innovative, creative and collaborative.
Our team
Marcel Madalin
Investment Director
Marcel is our Investment Director. He is focused on origination, due diligence and ongoing management of outstanding investments for our clients.
Marcel brings a unique investment skillset to 1010 Capital, developed through extensive M&A, investment due diligence, corporate strategy and operational improvement experience across private and public markets. Prior to joining 1010 Capital, Marcel was a Senior Manager at L.E.K. Consulting and an Associate Director in the M&A practice at PwC. During his time in those roles, Marcel led the development and successful execution of value-enhancing strategies for significant financial sponsors and global corporations, both in Australia and overseas.
Marcel is a CFA Charterholder.
Tim Evans
Operations Director
Tim is our Operations Director and is responsible for the management of the operations team.
Tim is focused on making sure data needed for decision making is accurate and timely, and all our processes run smoothly.
Prior to joining 1010 Capital, Tim led the technical operations departments for the multi-family offices of Mutual Trust and Myer Family Office, working across the various business units on process improvements and systems transformation. Tim also worked at investment manager Maple-Brown Abbott as an Investment Accountant and Change Agent.
Tim is a Chartered Accountant.
Jules Sanftl
COO
Jules manages our day to day operations.
With a Bachelor of Commerce and an accounting background, she has extensive experience working with high net worth families across a wide range of industries. Relationship and communication skills and super efficiency are hallmarks of her career and experience to date.
Jules ensures that 1010 Capital is a dynamic and high performance outfit with a vibrant culture. The dedication and tenacity she puts into every task and detail is second to none.
Harry Stobie
Investment Manager
Harry is our Investment Manager. Assisting the Investment Director, he performs due diligence and management of our investment opportunities as well as providing operational assistance and day to day client engagement.
Harry is a well-considered and capable professional with the necessary drive and determination to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
Harry commenced his career at PwC, working across the Tax, Family Office and Deals lines of service. Throughout this time, Harry focussed particularly on providing financial due diligence and deal advisory services to private companies, private equity firms and corporate advisors. Most recently Harry worked at EBOS Group Limited, an ASX100 pharmaceutical wholesaler, as an in house corporate financial analyst. Harry is a Chartered Accountant.
Jack Prendeville
Associate
Jack is an Associate in our advisory team.
Jack commenced his career at Ernst & Young in the Corporate Tax team, working on a range of compliance and advisory matters for large public and private companies. Identifying a passion for investments and holistic advice, Jack transitioned into wealth management at BlueRock, where he specialised in strategic financial advice for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Jack was admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer in 2022, and recently completed the ASIC Professional Year, leading to registration as a Financial Advisor.
Jacob Silver
Associate
Jacob is an Associate in our advisory team.
Jacob commenced his career at PwC, where he gained experience working across the Tax and Family Office lines of service. During this period, Jacob specialised in providing tax compliance and advisory services to private businesses and large family groups. Jacob is a Chartered Accountant.
Vincent Siddins
Investment Analyst
Vincent is an Analyst in our Investment team, contributing expertise in research, due diligence and investment opportunity managament, he also provides special project support for our Operations function.
Prior to 1010 Capital, Vincent gained a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne
Zac Bradford
Senior Investment Analyst
Zac is a Senior Analyst at 1010 Capital, bringing experience in lead advisory, financial due diligence and investment opportunity management.
Before joining 1010 Capital, Zac was a Manager at McGrathNicol, gaining valuable experience in M&A and restructuring services. Zac also enhanced his expertise through tenure at Tattarang, a prominent Family Office.
Zac holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Accountant.
Margaret Campbell
Operations Officer
Margaret bolsters our operations capabilities.
Having commenced her career in the Australian Defence Force, Margaret has since completed her Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and specialised in financial operations and compliance.
Prior to joining 1010 Capital, Margaret held a Senior Operations role at Elbaite, an Australian based P2P digital assets marketplace.
Simone Kozman
Operations Administrator
Simone is our Operations Administrator, responsible for support and processing for our Operations team.
Simone has significant operations experience, and previously worked at Morgan Stanley Australia as a Client Services Support Officer, and at Computershare as a Client Services Associate.
Simone holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, Management and Information Systems from the German University in Cairo.
